A co-founder of CauseEngine and a former Executive Director of a 4-Star rated veterans service organization, the Veteran and former Marine served two tours in Iraq as an infantry officer. Positively influenced by his service in the military, James excels at driving operational efficiencies, growth, and strategic fundraising. James’ true passion is in service and designing state-of-the-art ways for nonprofits to build scale and bring better services to the open market. James loves to travel with one thing in mind—there must always be a top-notch fishing adventure on that journey. His last excursion took him to the coast of Montenegro. Next stop? Myanmar or trekking across the trans-Mongolian railroad to Moscow.
Armed with a desire to have a lasting positive impact on the world, Mackenzie co-founded CauseEngine to aid nonprofits in sourcing meaningful on-demand talent to help showcase the vital work and resources nonprofits provide to every community. She spends her down time focusing on other important projects such as being a mom to six children -- three human and three rescue canines -- and spouse to an active duty husband.
Matt enlisted in the military on September 11, 2001. After two tours in Afghanistan and dedicating six years of service to our country in the US Air Force, Matt separated from the military and set his focus on the business world. Since 2010, Matt has raised over $35M for various non-profits and worked with such high-profile clients as eBay, Starbucks and some company called "the Google." Matt’s official title is Vice President, but his attention often goes toward all facets of CauseEngine, handling “a little of this and a little of that” on a daily basis. In his down time, he contemplates ways to drive 200 MPH without ending up in traction.

An Aussie native now firmly planted in American soil, Dita brings a corporate discipline to CauseEngine’s nonprofit partners, helping them operate with greater efficiency and effectiveness. She cut her teeth assisting Fortune 500 companies with strategic planning and program execution, so her background in management consulting has served her well. Her time off involves traveling in search of fantastic life experiences that satisfy both the mind and the palate.
Jenn's background in fine arts and operations combined with her desire to work for a cause (your cause), drives her to lead teams to creative solutions. Her passion for product development, project scoping and fostering positive team collaborations is evident in every project she undertakes. While not color-coding excel spreadsheets, you can find this yoga enthusiast practicing her handstand, developing culinary delights in the kitchen with her husband, or taking long Philadelphia dog walks with her furry child.

Andrew’s wealth of experience, proprietary research methods, and leadership is responsible for raising over $200M for several non-profits. Armed with an impressive skill set, Andrew’s personal efforts alone raised over $60M, and his comprehensive strategies streamline the cultivation window for clients. A dual-citizen of the US and UK, Andrew bleeds Everton FC blue, but when Premier League soccer isn't delivering enough excitement, he races BMWs purely for the rush.
Phil joined CauseEngine in 2016 after a decade of solitude in the Arizona desert. He’s a team player, always offering advice or willing to lend a spine to coworkers in need of a quick prick-me-up. His resilience and perseverance mirror the rest of the staff, and he's always willing to fight for a belief about which he feels particularly prickly.
After the office shuts down for the day, Phil enjoys kicking back in his terracotta pot and slowly sipping the water he's been storing since the late 1990s, binge-watching Three's Company and turning the office thermostat up to 100.
